SHUMARD RED OAK TREE NATIVE 'Quercus shumardii also known as a swamp rwd oak or a spotted oak and ir grows to a height of 60 to 80 ft. Leaves turn a beautiful red and orange in the fall. It is one of the largest of the oak species. It is a great choice for wildlife. Not only is it one of the fastest growing oaks, but it’s also one of the last oaks to drop acorns. This provides wildlife food right when winter is approaching and they need food. Grows 14 to 24 inches per year.
