HARVEY LEMON TREE citrus limon 'Harvey' Did you know? The Harvey Lemon Tree  is cold tolerant and hardy, It has a true classic lemon taste. It is almost seedless. The Harvey Lemon fruits from September to March. It is a self fertile tree that has survived harsh winters in the past.  One of the best on the market , especially for our area. Our Harvey Lemon are locally grown by an knowledgeable nursery owner.

Height 12 to 14 ft Width 6 to 10 ft.

Lemon tree need 6 to 8 hours of sun it can tolerate some shade but thrives in full sun.

It is self pollinating but all fruit trees produce larger and more fruit with a partner.

After watering about once or twice weekly, allow the top 2 to 3 inches of the soil to dry out completely before watering again.

Fertilize during the warmer spring and summer seasons with a citrus fertilizer about once every six weeks

Lemon tree roots will spread just beyond the tree canopy so you can trim according to the space you have to grow in. 

Lemon trees have non-invasive roots however as the tree gets bigger the roots can become  large..  Plant at least 6 feet to 8 ft. from the house foundation.

It is good to mulch the lemon tree but stay at least 4 inches away from the trunk.
