Pentas

Pentas  Pentas family  of Rubiaceae prefer full sun with late afternoon shade or at least some shade during the afternoon. They tolerate partial shade well, but flowering may be reduced without adequate sun. Pentas often survive the cold (although temperatures in the teens can kill them). You can cut back the freeze-damaged parts in the spring, and they should sprout from lower parts to grow and bloom another season.
