 Vanicek Weigela florida ‘Vanicekii’ has a cardinal has a funnel shaped purple-red color. It has a height o f6 to 8' and a spread of 8 to 9 Ft. Weigela,.  Dark red blooms appear on this hardy shrub in late spring and early summer.
